Dissonance tiene un espíritu salvaje. En ese estado nos encuentra como personas y como artistas, y así sentimos que tenemos que expresar lo que nos gusta y sobretodo lo que vemos en el mundo y NO nos gusta.

Dissonance descubre nuestro lado fatalista, inconforme, contestatario y escéptico. Nos pone en el centro de todo, donde creemos saber que no podemos contar con nadie sino con nosotros mismos.

Dissonance recela de este mundo que excluye, censura y cancela todo lo que no se amolda al discurso hegemónico, y en el que todo el tiempo nos quieren obligar a elegir entre blanco y negro, olvidando para siempre los grises.

Suficientes disonancias! para qué seguir mirando al futuro, cuando el presente está tan falto de armonía.

Dissonance has a wild spirit. It finds us as artists, and so we feel that we have to express what we like and above all what we see in the world and we DO NOT like.

Dissonance reveals our fatalistic, non-conformist, rebellious and skeptical side. It puts us in the center of everything, where we know that we can count on no one but ourselves.

Dissonance is suspicious of this world that excludes, censors and cancels everything that does not conform to the hegemonic discourse, and in which they constantly want to force us to choose between black and white, forgetting the grays.

Enough dissonances! Why continue looking to the future, when the present is so lacking in harmony.

Guillermo Laborde and Álvaro Correa formed CORVIS in 2015, with a proposal focused on instrumental and experimental music based on electronic instruments.
